The school library provides resources relating to subjects taught in the school's courses such as Naturopathy, Myotherapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Massage and An mo tui na or Chinese remedial massage and the various sciences. Five items may be borrowed at any one time for two weeks, unless marked otherwise. Audio and video tapes, CD-ROM's and DVD's are avaliable on a one-week loan. (Borrowing facilities are only available to currently enrolled SSNT students and staff.) There are also some extensive libraries at various universities and colleges in Melbourne. Particularly close are the Melbourne University libraries e.g. Brownless Medical, Baillieu, and Chemistry libraries and The Pharmacy College which students may make use of. The Southern School of Natural Therapies Library holds over 6,000 book titles and over 160 Journal titles, making our collection one of the best Natural Therapies collections in Australia. Not only do we have one of the best Natural Therapies collections, we also have an extensive range of science and social science materials. |
